"Microterry" sounded like it would be luxuriously soft. Not as much as I would've thought (i.e. micromodal or microfleece or even standard fleece). It seems more a technicality on the way it is made, not really a point to advertise the feel or be a selling point. Love the silk and reversibility and never had a hood before. Our backyard gets quite windy so I plan on using it to sit outside with the hood as well as for everyday - during the seasons it seems appropriate. Way too warm for warm weather - a little heavier than I expected.

I love the way it makes me feel. The only negative is that the silk tie on the silk robe is too slippery, and it won't stay tied. If I wore it over pj's, and just left it open, it would be great-but I wear it after showers. I've had robes which had an inside loop to help tie it shut, that would have helped in this situation. The sleeves are long-but that is the fashion.

Looked for a while. Have a big terry cloth robe for the winter - wanted one like this for the summer and it fits the bill. Not sure if it mentioned it in the ad, but it is reversable.
I wouldn't wear this reversed By seejarn from Cheyenne, WY on 03/15/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Luxurious, Soft Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: seems short for much warmth

By sierra trading post fan from Visalia, CA on 02/17/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Luxurious, Soft, Well Made Cons: Slippery silk opens tie Best Uses: After Baths, Lounging, Pool & Spa Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a lovely high quality robe. The problem is that the silk is so slippery that the robe comes untied and the sleeves that are designed to be rolled up, also slip down.
