By Sarahbobarah from Virginia on 07/23/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Breathable, Durable, Great Traction, No first wear blisters, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, Grass, Mixed Terrain, Paved Trails, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I walk so much that sometimes my knees get tired and in some cases hurt, but the Solomon shoes alleviate this problem quite a bit, and are very supportive shoes. Also they aren't dorky looking.
By KH895 from Kansas City, KS on 07/12/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction, Shock-Absorbent Best Uses: Everyday, Mixed Terrain, Paved Trails, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker, Trail Jogger Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I absolutely love this shoe! I wear it all the time and just ordered another pair in a different color. I also ordered the same thing in gortex for rain. It is also very comfortable. Right out of the box I wore it on a hot fairly rocky trail for a couple of miles. My feet felt great and usually the balls of my feet get sore from the rocks. Not with these. Outstanding price on Sierra.
By Aspiring triathlete from Wyoming on 07/10/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: Mixed Terrain, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Aspiring triathlete, Competitive Athlete, Trail Jogger Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are the best trail shoes I have found. I have really pronounced arches and these shoes have wonderful arch support! They really help stabilize my foot, especially running on loose gravel, and rocky terrain. I do a lot of trail running and these shoes are a perfect fit.
By Quilting Mama from Casper, WY on 07/09/2009 Pros: Comfortable/No Break-In Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker, Trail Jogger Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love these shoes. They fit like they were made for my foot. No break in time at all. I think that they are a nice looking shoe too. The ties were a little different for me at first. I have only worn them on paved and gravel trails. Hopefully, this weekend I'll get to jog up on the mountain.

By Jules the Techie from NC on 07/05/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Durable, Great Traction, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: Everyday, Grass, Mixed Terrain, Paved Trails, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Salomon shoes are the best fit for my foot; a wider width at forefoot, flat instep and regular width at heel. I love Salomon's superb support, adjustable lacing system and the cool mesh design. Haven't worn these in wet condtions, but traction is secure over varied terrain and also on steel grids where I work. Highly recommend!
Absolutely LOVE these shoes! By Fit Girl from Newtown, PA on 06/30/2009 Pros: Adjustability, Comfortable/No Break-In, Dries Quickly, Great Traction, Stabilizes Foot Cons: Lack of Summer colors Best Uses: At The Gym, Everyday, Mixed Terrain, Paved Trails, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Gym Rat, Personal Trainer, Runner, Trail Jogger Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Wear them everyday! Love the adjustability of the shoe and the various colors but wish they offered more Spring/Summer colors.
By Lauren from Wayne, NJ on 06/29/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Great Traction Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, At The Gym, Everyday, Grass, Mixed Terrain, Paved Trails, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Gym Rat, Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very comfortable and a great pair of shoes. They did take a day or two to form to my foot. They felt a little tight, width wise, initially and I though I'd have to return them but now they feel great. Really form fitting. The only time I am uncomfortable in these shoes is when I'm biking. Extended pressure in these shoes on the pad of my foot (just past the toes and before the arch) causes discomfort.
By SH from Broomfield, CO on 06/26/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've been wearing these Salomon's for years and although I've occasionally tried other brands of cross-trainers/trail runners, I always come back to these. I love the lacing system and the shoe is very comfortable right out of the box and a year down the road. I have a narrow heel and they work great. If I could, I'd buy a pair in every color.
