As I write this it is 1 below zero and I know she is thrilled to have these on her feet. In conjunction with some traction-control add-ons, she's able to go about her business effortlessly.
The fact that I saved 55% is the icing on the cake. Thanks.

Safe travels through snow and ice conditions, yet not too warm and clunky to wear during class.
By nyvalerie from Long Island NY on 11/16/2008 Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit, Heavy, Not Comfortable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Sorry, maybe a man would wear such huge boots, but not me. Not even to stay warm and dry shoveling snow - might scare the neighbors.

Refreshing Change from the Norm By Green Machine from Wellington, OH on 10/08/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Finally, boots that don't have that ugly "duck boot" look! These are almost like wearing hiking boots. These are my first pair of Salomon boots, they are light, comfortable, easy to walk in (unlike most the Herman Munster boots out there), waterproof and quite "hip". They also are a very nice combination of colours. These are going to be great for this winter - I can't wait to wear them!!
I would definitely recommend these boots to anyone! :)
