As it is, I have to grab it by the long shoulder strap. Also, really could use more external pockets. I have no idea what the silly reflector tabs with a belt clasp are for, the thing needs more loops to add stuff to the outside, and a couple of side pockets would have been nice. Also, I don't think the lining material will hold up as long as the wool, and they are not bonded to each other, noticable especially in the top flap. I got mine for $15 less than the price today, and got it a week ago. Funny how that is.

Timbuk2 has definitely made a top-of-the-line product, and it's easy to see why these bags are so popular.
By Business Casual from seattle, WA on 02/13/2009 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Easy To Identify, Good Capacity, High Quality Describe Yourself: Career, Classic, Comfort-Oriented, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This bag is just the right size for a small frame person. The classic wool pattern is good for work--not the typical bike messanger bag. Good access to the inner compartments. Can easily slip in a book, magazine or a hanging file folder with out bending the pages.

This one is nice. I am surprised, however, after just a few months of use, that the lining is already cracking inside the flap. The bag is a little bigger than expected, but I am still enjoying it.
Great bag, but check the dimensions. By AK Shopper from Anchorage, AK on 09/16/2008 Best Uses: Day trips, WORK Describe Yourself: Modern, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just received the Charcoal/Black/Charcoal bag. This bag is really very stylish. It looks pretty sharp. Quite nice and practical. My only comment is to be sure to check the dimensions on this one -- I bought this to replace a small Timbuk2 Classic Messenger bag that was stolen and the dimensions of the wool one are just slightly different than the regular one. Volume-wise, its about the same. But the actual dimensions are slightly different and I noticed it rather quickly. Still, its a good bag and will function nicely.
