By Outside in lousy weather. from Central Ohio on 10/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wanted the jacket as a casual top layer for fall & winter layering. I like the look and previous experience told me that maintenance is easy. The woollen collar is snug and comfortable (although that can get wet in a continued downpour), as is the corduroy lining in the sleeves . The pockets are big enough for hands and other stuff, with the inner zipper being especially useful. A "medium" is sized small, and knowing that when I ordered, the sizing is just fine. Once again, STP has provided amazing value!
By duff from San Jose on 10/22/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stylish Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Need to buy a size larger. Nice jacket, but the zip is on the wrong side. As I don't have a man servant putting on the jacket, it is awkward. Now I know why my wife hates women's jackets.

Thank you for your review. After having this fit, we have determined that this item is running small. We have readjusted the size chart to reflect our decision. Thank you again.

By Steamboat Bill from New York City on 12/25/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Lightweight for temperatures in the 50s. Waxed finish does not breath. Dry cleaning will remove the wax then you have a nice breathable cotton jacket. You have to have a long neck to turn the collar all the way up in front.
By munich from Columbus, OH on 12/22/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great jacket. High quality, with nice detailing. Inside zip pocket, brass buttons, zipper sleeves, warm corduroy lining on the neck and wrists.
Some cons: the bottom of the jacket is large and there is no draw string, and the material is lighter than I expected. Also, there aren't side pockets for your hands. Finally, the brand is actually Peregrine, which is the entry brand for J.G. Glover I believe.
All in all, a great coat for moderate weather or drizzle.
