Fits me great... probably won't fit you By catcog from Salt Lake City on 02/20/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Nonconstricting Best Uses: Intense activity Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: If you're long-legged with a smallish waist and big thighs, these should fit you well. They are baggy behind the knee, as one commenter mentioned, but for me this is a non-issue.(Only noticed this from a post-activity photo of me while wearing them). I've worn these snowshoeing as a single layer under shell pants and they were fine (breaks were in the sunshine/lo wind, so I can't say how they'd do in extreme cold w/o another layer). On a multi-day trip they didn't get stinky. Anything that gets sweaty, I like to wash in at least warm, so suggested cold wash is a con. I should probably get a backup pair for when these wear out. By Flatlander from Kansas on 01/24/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Soft Best Uses: Everyday Wear, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The material is great on these, but is very lightweight. They are well-constructed. Definitely for high aerobic activities where you'll be generating some of your own heat. These have a very awkward fit - very tight around the calf, but very saggy in crotch, behind, and legs, and sit very high, even for a base layer. I have an average to long torso, and these still sat too high for me. Perhaps if I had Tour De France thighs, these would have fit better, but as such, they were only "tights" around the calves, so I'm returning them.
By beans from Chattanooga, TN on 01/22/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Soft, Warm Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered M, but should have ordered S. I'm size 6.
By Multi-Tasking Suburban Mom from Lexington, MA on 01/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Everyday Wear, Hiking, Running, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear them as much as i can to the office, to walk outdoors, to stay warm at home. I bought a lot of different kinds of long undies. These are the ones that my teenage daughters snatch. Its not just because Northface is popular with teens. They are efficient--lightweight, breathable and easy to slip under a pair of jeans.
By all weather exerciser from Indiana on 01/17/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Soft, Warm Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The best thing about these is that you can put them on and wear them all day, in and out and almost forget that you are wearing them until you realize that that frigid wind isn't making you cold.
By Sunshine from Arizona on 01/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Warm Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are great, except I should have gotten an XS. SM on me is a little baggy, but they are really warm and I like them alot. Next order will go a size down.
By Field Biologist Woman from Olympia, WA on 12/20/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Silky, Soft, Warm Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I work outside year-round in a cool-winter climate, so I need lightweight long underwear that won't overheat me when doing moderate physical labor in 30-40 degree weather, and that allows me to be comfortable inside with the thermostat set at 61. These fit the bill very nicely. They are surprisingly silky for something made from bamboo! On the other hand, they fit very loosely for something described as being 'tights'. Tight they are not. I am normally a medium, but I might have been ok with smalls with these, tho they do fit at medium - just loosely.

No saggy crotch!
