Good quality denim , size not consistent By Rick from Florida on 10/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, High Quality Material Cons: Hole in crotch on receipt Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out Describe Yourself: Casual, Trendy Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is the 3rd pair I have purchased and had to send a pair back because of mis-sizing and this pair had a hidden hole in the crotch area . The denim is good quality but each pair is a different weight
By jim from orcutt on 09/04/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice jeans but they had more of a 'wash' look on thighs than I saw on the site image.Ordered 1 size bigger for waist as a previous poster noted and so they fit well.Nice denim but don't see how they would merit a 'full' retail price somewhere else.
Agave Beer Can Jeans: The real deal. By d8 from Chicago on 08/25/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, High Quality Material, Holds Color Well, Versatile Style Describe Yourself: Classic Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Have purchased a number of Agave jeans with various material finishes at full price. I normally do not look for bargains, but took the chance. It was worth it. Jeans are true Agave, and well worth the money. Waterman is mid rise dark blue with a little treatment of the front of the pants. The quality and design of Agave is almost to dress pants and I will be wearing the beer can jeans to work.
By Oaklandhunk from Oakland CA on 08/11/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Great Fit, High Quality Material Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Career, Casual, Classic, Sexy Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: High quality jeans made of supple Supima cotton - fit is perfect for me. The El Gringo is not too baggy or too tight - I'm a size 33 waist, 5'11" 164 lbs. The Waterman fit is a bit too baggy for my taste. I liked these so much I bought two pairs. I will have these shortened.
By Marty from Kansas City on 07/21/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Great Fit Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out Describe Yourself: Casual, Classic Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A true quality brand and Jean at very attractive pricing
Agave Denimsmith Waterman By MisterB from New York on 06/09/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Great Fit, Holds Color Well Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out Describe Yourself: Casual, Eclectic Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Best jeans in fit and style I ever owned.
By Mark from Jackson, MS on 05/27/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Great Fit, High Quality Material Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Career, Classic Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have several pairs of the Agave 'Waterman' style jeans. I like this fit - it is more traditional and sits more at the waist. And, Agave is a stylish jean - not a basic no frills jean. These 'beer can beach' wash jeans are straighter cut with a dark blue wash without much 'character' added. I had them hemmed to go with tennis shoes, sandals and driving style loafers.
Second Pair for Me to Love! By Duspin from Stoneham, MA on 05/26/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Great fit except inseam, High Quality Material, Holds Color Well, Versatile Style Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office Wear Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Career, Casual, Classic, Eclectic, High-end shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My inside leg is 32" and realizing that today's manufacturers need to simplify and produce universal inseam lengths doesn't take the sting out of the tailoring fees for shortening the hems and then reattaching the "worn" bottoms (not every tailor can do this well). Other than that, these are great for many warm-weather uses because of their dark color: casual with a polo, slightly dressy with a button-down shirt and blazer. Excellent value!
