So it didn't fit.

Useful, quiet (see below) wind-stopper By Birdwatcher from New Jersey on 11/15/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Layer-able, Lightweight, Quiet, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Birdwatching, Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I write reviews from a birdwatcher's perspective. I was looking very specifically for a warm jacket that blocked wind to use in the 30-50 F temp range that could also be used as a layer. AND it had to be quiet! Too many nylon-y jackets rustle loudly when attempting to move quietly towards a bird.
This jacket met all those requirements, and it is attractive and feminine looking as well. But ...
When the description says "trim fit," it means it. I am normal weight, and I found it very trim! This is good because it layers very well, but it does feel slightly tighter than most jackets. Those wishing for a more generous fit should order 1 size up.
The most puzzling flaw is the lining. It is another layer of soft fleece - that acts like velcro against any shirt that does not have a satin finish. Forget wearing any other fleece piece, like a turtleneck, underneath it - you won't move. I have a very silky hiking shirt that I can put immediately under it, but the jacket really should have at least a single layer of taffeta on the inside.
But I needed this particular type of jacket for birdwatching, and I am happy with it. Plan to wear it today, in fact!

By Comfortlover from Texas on 11/10/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm, Windproof Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Softer and more moveable than my last windproof fleece jacket. I like the snug but not tight cuffs and the good price. Seems well-made.

I bought the size medium (my normal size) and it fits well, with room underneath for a lightweight sweater. The lagoon color is exactly as shown on my computer, with a pretty deep tone. Overall, a great jacket.
