By Debbra, hiker and runner from Washington State on 11/13/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: As an underlayer for cold, Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping, Skiing/Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have purchased 8 of these now. I just bought two more for Christmas gifts. Be advised, the small is a perfect fit for me, but I am 5'4" and weigh about 118 lbs. It is a shorter jacket and might not work for every body type. I think the newer jackets (which have the smaller flower isignia) are cut even a bit smaller...at least it feels that way. I wear mine for running, hiking, around town, under my hard shell for warmth for cold weather sports. I have a black, blue, and green one now...I've given my daughter two and she's about to get another. I love giving this jacket as a gift...people love it. I'm especially happy when I can purchase it for a great price!

The color I got, lava, was very bright but pretty.
By EliseSkis from DC on 10/30/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight Best Uses: bar hopping, Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very plush and cozy. This jacket has a very attractive cut. I am 5'8" and 155 and the medium fits great. It's not quite as warm as I expected though but great for fall.
Nice, but not what I expected By Civa from Western shore of Lake Michigan on 10/28/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Lovely fit and color, but more lightweight than I expected. Probably good for wicking, but does not provide warmth. Comparable to a track-type jacket, I will still keep it as a nice jacket to transition into spring and fall.
"Was everything it promised to be!" It's lightweight but warm, functional but stylish.
By CM from Indiana on 10/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered the blue and the coral to see which color I liked better. The blue is pretty bright, not what I had expected when I read the other review calling it "azure". I'd call it a bright royal blue. The coral is a lovely color. I ordered both in a small size. The blue is much smaller than the coral, however. I wear a small in almost all clothing and the blue is tiny on me. The coral just fits, but looks very fitted and I could not have anything but one thin layer under it. In addition, the coral is pretty tight on my bust (I'm a 34B) and that area is visibly tighter than the shoulder area or waist area, which I normally do not experience in clothes. I am currently considering whether to try a medium coral or not. The blue is going back for sure. Also, the sleeves are too long by about 3 inches, and usually I find that most sleeves are too long by 1 to 2 inches. By the way, the external fabric is not fleecy at all - it's a smooth polyester and just looks like a slightly thick exercise jacket (no hint that the inside is fleece). The internal fabric is fleece.
By Garbage girl from Norway on 10/08/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Warm Cons: Length Too Short, Sleeves too short Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have a fairly long torso and long arms (weight 125), but this jacket is much too small for me. Also, the armpits are very large and the jacket just seems to fit strangely. However, nice material, and soft and warm.
Great outer layer for winter runs By AnnieB from Boston, MA on 09/28/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket has a flattering cut and is a bit longer in the back, which I like. For active winter sports like running or skating, this will be perfect over a lightweight wicking long sleeve shirt. The blue is a gorgeous azure color.
