By Traveler Jamie from Springfield, VA on 02/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Skiing/Snowboarding, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The 3 in 1 jacket is really durable. I love the shell, just for regular cool to cold weather. Very stylish.
Add the shell, and you're ready for snow, wind, and rain. Highly recommend. A steal for under $100.
By NicoB from Edinboro, PA on 02/02/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Pit Zips, Powder Skirt, Warm, Windproof Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Casual Wear, Skiing/Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this primarily for B/C skiing and snowshoeing. The pit zips are great for regulating body temp, and the lines of the jacket look nice. The inner liner by itself makes for a nice casual everyday jacket in cool weather. The neck is a little narrow and the hood small, but these are only a problem if you want to wear more around your neck or a helmet.
By clintastic from Nashville, TN on 02/01/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Skiing/Snowboarding, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really like this jacket. It's very light weight for how warm it is. My only complaints are very small things, that probably aren't a big deal to most people: when the liner is zipped in, there is no access to an inside pocket. When the powder skirt is snapped shut, the jacket sticks out a little in the front. that's really about it. I really like that you can zip the powder skirt into either the shell or the liner. Overall, for what I paid for this jacket, I'm very happy with it.
Seems ok...but not for me.... By Jason from Burlington, VT on 01/23/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Fit felt a bit small for a large. The side pockets are more like side zips. They are high just below the rib cage, so its awkward to keep your hands in your pockets. There is no padding near the collar, so when its zipped all the way up its harsh zipper and fabric on your face. Would be good as a specific jacket for wet/cold weather...but im looking for an everyday jacket.
