By Extreme Gardener from Houston, TX on 12/13/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Stylish, Upland Hunter, Warm Best Uses: Bird Hunting, Evening, Mild Temperate Climate Describe Yourself: Experienced Hunter Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is an all-around. It fits over a sport-coat for a chilly night out, and looks good with nice evening-out boots and slacks. And, it's great in the field. I bought as a gift for my son, then realized that I needed one for me too. We'll take it to South Dakota for our annual pheasant and waterfowl hunt, and also to Church on Sunday.
By Bird man of Texas from Arlington, TX on 11/11/2008 Cons: Needs waist drawstring Best Uses: Bird Hunting, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Experienced Hunter Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Primary use is for casual wear. Fit would be better w/ the waist drawstring, but otherwise the jacket is good-very good. Is warm and repels wind and has enough pocket space (inside and out) for a day of bird hunting. Game pouch does not appear to be blood/water proof, so jacket would have to be washed afterward, which would present a problem w/ the leather trim.
