Great for hard exercising By 3BlackDogs from The Gorge on 06/23/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, High Quality, Lightweight Best Uses: Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This should not be under casual - it is for exercising; and great for that use.
By Lisa B from Longview, WA on 06/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Runs small. Is comfortable and keeps you cool while run/walking, but it is too tight. Order one size larger.
By Works on Madison Avenue from Jersey City, NJ on 06/02/2009 Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, Practical Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I had difficulty getting this shirt on and then off. It was not a good choice for me but I think it could be good for others - especially for a hiking wardrobe - which is what I had int intended mine to be for.
By Hike Israel from Nazareth, Israel on 04/02/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Outdoor Activities, Travel Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Agree with other reviewer-- no matter how many times I pull this shirt down it will instantly creep back up to the smallest point of my waist (leaving 3-4 inches of skin exposed.) It's not only immodest but really uncomfortable. Too bad, the style and color are cute, the fabric is great, but it just won't stay down even though the material is long enough.
By Frances the shop-a-holic from Virginia Beach, VA on 03/22/2009 Pros: Comfortable, High Quality Best Uses: Exercise, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: High-end shopper, Trendy Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I usually wear a medium in Low Alpine products. This medium is very snug. It is still comfortable but would have been better in a large for me. Great price!
By See God in Nature from Denver, CO on 02/12/2009 Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, Practical Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This shirt is weird. The medium fit me snuggly. I usually don't like a tight fit (I wear an 8 - 10) but it was flattering and not uncomfortable. Yet it was way too short. I am 50 so I don't like showing skin but the thing with this shirt is when you pull it on (and you do need to pull) it covers everything respectably. Then you move and it rides up. I don't mean rigorous exercise, I just mean breathe. It sneaks up toward your chest and settles in somewhere between your bra and bottoms, right where your waist bends. You pull it down and it happens again. Too bad I wore and washed it before realizing this. I won't return it but I will donate it.
By Indy Athlete from Indianapolis, IN on 01/21/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Flattering, High Quality, Lightweight Best Uses: Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: High-end shopper, Stylish, Trendy Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: As with all Lowe gear, this is a very high-quality shirt. It seems impossibly small when you pull it out of the bag but it actually fits quite well. I wear a size 4 (occasionally a 2) and the small fits well. Make sure you are ok showing off every curve as this cut is NOT forgiving. Major drawback- even though it fits me well, it does ride up but I have a long torso. Same with the long sleeve. I like it nonetheless. My boyfriend really likes it. :)
One note, this shirt is cut MUCH MORE generously than the Alpine DryFlo. The small in this shirt is the same size as the large in that cut. It also fits a lot better.
1 third price of under armor By Bean from Mpls,Mn on 12/10/2008 Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Lightweight Best Uses: Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: this has a nice tight to the body fit wore skiing kept me nice and dry for a third the price of my under armor
By Mrs. Tiki from east coast, southern New Jersey on 11/19/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, High Quality, Lightweight Best Uses: Athletics, Backpacking, Outdoor Activities Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was initially surprised at how tight this shirt fits; however, I believe that closeness-to-body will help it's wicking capabilities. It has waffle-weave at the most needed wicking areas. I bought this for backpacking because of the wicking abilities and the no-chafe flat seams. It's nicer than I expected, especially for the price. I like the longer short sleeves and the bottom grips to keep from sliding up. Images shared by: Mrs. Tikitight fit Tags: Wearing product
By CdeC from Baltimore, MD on 09/08/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, High Quality Best Uses: Athletics, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: As other have mentioned, this is a shirt with a tight fit. I am a petite person with about a 26" waist, and I would consider the SMALL size, very fitted.
However, the fabric is comfortable and stylish enough that I could pair this tee with a pair of workout pants OR jeans for casual wear too. I like the sleeve-length, which ends just slightly above my elbow.
