By Lindsey from VA on 12/06/2007 Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Same as top. Not much good can come from it. Can't even say at least it covers you butt. In all honesty it's see through.
By hot legs from Maine on 12/05/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Daily winter wear Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Here in our cold old house in Maine, we both wear long silk underwear from Oct. to April. These are the thinnest ones I've ever seen - they look like pantyhose, but if you're in and out of heated buildings all day, the thinness isn't necessarily a bad thing. I don't know how durable they'll be - they look like they may run like pantyhose do.

Comfort and warmth, not bulk ! By Mike the Builder from Boston, MA on 12/05/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Snug Fit, Warm Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I work on a construction site and I am in the office as much as I am outside in the cold on an average day, so I love the comfort of these. They are never too hot inside, and they realy stop the cold air when outside. If you haven't tried silk, this is the winter to start.

It works comparably to other lightweight underwear, but you can't beat the comfort of silk!

By Powder hound from Bozeman, MT on 12/02/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These silk long underwear are AWESOME! They are a great first layer; soft and super wicking. The silk keeps sweat away from you and makes the second layer insulate much better. For aerobic activities I use a mid weight second layer, for stop and go (downhill skiing, ice climbing) I use expedition weight over the silk. The silk turtleneck is my favorite first layer for the top.
Terramar stuff gets a few runs after a year or so, but it still works great and lasts me a few years with heavy use.
