Very thin and lightweight, they work well for layering. They get worn so much during the cold months that we have to get a new set every year. My youngest child is glad that she's finally big enough to wear these instead of the old bulky cotton longjohns!

By Lyn from Woodstock, GA on 11/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Soft Best Uses: Everyday Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have hefty thighs and often difficulty finding leg warmers to fit properly without having the waist come up to my armpits. These were very reasonable and comfortable fit. I plan to use them for tennis, outdoor on cool days under jeans, and hiking.

Their light weight makes the great for layering. They don't have much stretch so I buy them a little big. I have washed and dried them in the machine but find they wear a little longer when I wash them on gentle and hang them to dry. These make a great gifts! They are even pretty!

By Katero from Wisconsin on 11/08/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These long underwear were very thin and lightweight. I wore them under a tighter pair of jeans when I went to a football game in November and they did not feel bulky at all. They kept my legs warm. I am not sure how they will work in more extreme temperature conditions.
By Wanting winter wear from Marfa, TX on 11/06/2009 Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These Terramar long underwear were not at all what I expected. I was gifted a set last year and was horribly disappointed when I got my Sierra Trading Post order. The pair I was given are sturdy and warm, these were thin and cold. Bah.
By Scott from Chicago, IL on 11/05/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: You should know that the material is very thin. In fact, it's see-through, which I don't mind too much, since it's for my wife :).
