It IS long, but as I'm tall that is a plus for me. I think I may stitch down the back pleat at about the waist to add a little more shape to the back - otherwise the pleat is open all the way from the shoulder down which is a little too unstructured for my taste - especially given the detailed front.

It runs generous expecting to go over a blazer or other heavy winter clothing. It is also ankle length to protect from the snow and Alpine weather. If you are wearing this over normal day wear, you may want to go a size smaller than normal.

The shape is great for wearing sweaters/suit jackets underneath -- not too snug. The length, however, is too long and must be shortened or would drag on the ground. Very versatile.

Steinbock always is a great deal at STP. But---the sleeves are short and the overall length is quite long. The problem is that to lengthen the sleeves is not trivial due to the cuff design. I took the coat to a tailor to evaluate, and unfortunately, I will need to return it since it is too much work to make the sleeves longer and keep the original style.

Also the size 10 seemed bigger than expect. We are exchanging for a size 8.
