Rough-cut edges are ugly and seem weak. I will hem myself.
Nice, casual, pretty style to wear with jeans or slacks. Love boiled wool for warmth and lightness and ease of care.

I ordered the cerise color because you can only wear so much black during the winter months. Imagine my huge disappointment when I received this item without the little tabs that create the ruching. Without that design item, the jacket fitted more like a wooly tent instead and is headed back to STP. Unfortunately, my chosen color is sold out. The low star rating is only for the defective jacket that I received, not for the overall design. The coat itself is a nice, lightweight boiled wool that is well finished and lends itself very well to layering. Looks equally well with jeans or a dressier outfit.
