Decent underlayer for mild-cold temps. By backpacker-cyclist from Omaha, NE on 11/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice base layer. Not the best for running. Great for backpacking / cycling. Seems to work well for me down to about 20-25deg.
I went a size smaller, as I prefer the base layer to be snug.
By Sherry from Mont Vernon, NH on 10/30/2009 Cons: Poor Craftsmanship, Restricts Movement, Runs super small Best Uses: Everyday Wear, Hiking, Yardworkfarm work Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have purchased wickers in the past and the fabric was "cottony soft" as listed in the current product description. These are not soft, they feel like nylon/cheap polyester. Since they do not stretch at all they feel very restrictive. They are too small overall, especially in the legs. Sending all four pairs back. I guess you get what you pay for.
I would buy this product again and again By Mountain Man from Mahwah NJ. on 10/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Fits great and wears well

By razorback gal from fayetteville, ar on 06/08/2009 Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These were way too tight. I usually wear men's medium very comfortably. Larger size is recommended.

By Jessie Rae from Indianapolis, IN on 04/03/2009 Cons: 2-3 Sizes too Small, Much Thinner Than Describ, Not For Tall Men, Poor Craftsmanship, Restricts Movement, Too Thin Best Uses: Everyday Wear, Hiking, Running, Travel, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these specifically for my husband who is 6'7" because they were labeled for tall men. My husband is very thin, but he could not get even a medium past his calves. The legs are much too tight; if he were to have gotten them on, they would definitely have been way too short. They are also labeled as 'long johns,' but where I grew up (Indiana) long johns are at least opaque! I could see through all three pairs I ordered for him! These would be for use in warmer weather, and not to be used when layering for warmth in the winter. Very disappointed. [...]. I will not but from Sierra Trading post ever again.
By Sasquatch from Wheaton, IL on 03/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are very warm and very thin, so a great buy. My size was a little longer than it should have been, but that beats the alternative.
