By Playzalot from Mentor, OH on 07/25/2009 Cons: Bulky, Not Weatherproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Snowshoeing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: When it's snowy, my friends and I regularly snowshoe at night. These are perfect for snowshoeing, because you can drop a hand warmer into the mitt for those subzero nights, but you can also flip the mitt up to tweak a binding or if your hands get too warm.
The eco-fleece lining is a bonus, because my other ragg wool mitts (alpaca) are sometimes a bit chilly when I'm still warming up.
Also, they're cute!
Functional, great quality gloves. By Maria from Maryland on 02/04/2009 Pros: Durable, Good Grip, Snug Fit, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Driving Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love these gloves; they're a little too bulky and not really flattering for the ladies. They do run big.
save yourself the return fee By sensible dresser from new jersey on 02/02/2009 Cons: The flap is much too long Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I got these for my husband, who is a very tall man, but these gloves are still too long in the flap. He tried them on, but they absolutely do not fit. Disappointing, since they were meant to be a gift for him. Now, I have to spend extra money, time, and effort to return them. dave yourself the aggravation.

The lining is very soft. Use them when driving, walking, or working outside spring, fall, and winter.
By JB from Kentucky on 01/02/2009 Cons: Poor Grip, Too Bulky Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these as a Christmas present for a family member and they don't fit. I don't see how they would fit anybody the mitten part of the gloves are huge. They hang over the fingers by 4" and this they are a small/medium size.

Recommended for larger hands By oola54 from Souderton, PA on 12/04/2008 Pros: Look well made, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Working Outdoors Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These gloves would have been fine for me except the mitten top was to large for my small fingers. Not recommended for the small hand girls. These are recommended for larger hands. Very warm and comfortable.
Not exactly as advertised By Traveling Jane from Kansas City, MO on 11/28/2008 Pros: Durable, Fleece liner, Warm, Windproof Cons: Not Weatherproof, Too Bulky Best Uses: Casual Wear, Driving Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This product advertises having a wooden button that holds back the mitten portion of the glove; however, it is actually a poorly sewn on square of Velcro. I even had to reinforce the stitching myself upon receipt.
Despite this "con," the mittens are extremely warm!
By Cold Mom from South Dakota on 11/24/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I've always wanted mittens like these because it was always a hassle to take the mitten off to retrieve things. These are very warm, but the flip mitten part is too long even though I have the small/medium size. I am a woman with longish fingers. I don't use them to drive in unless I flip the mitten back because they don't grip well. Then my fingertips get cold.
By Lisa from St. Paul, MN on 11/24/2008 Pros: Dries Easily, Durable, Snug Fit, Warm, Windproof Cons: Poor Grip, Too Bulky Best Uses: Casual Wear, Driving, Hiking/Running Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These mittens are very soft and warm. When your flip the top back, the fingers of the gloves go nice and high and are very snug, so they still feel very warm. The one con that I would list is that they fit a bit awkwardly as a mitten, and are bulky in the tip. As a result, you cannot do much with your hands while wearing them as a mitten, but, alas, you can make pop the top and then that problem is solved.
