By Ginger970 from Atlanta on 11/08/2009 Cons: Bulky, Not Enough Pockets or Features, Poor Sizing Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants got great reviews from others, so I ordered them for my boyfriend in both colors. They are made for someone who is long-waisted or who wears their pants up high. Even when sitting at the waist, the crotch was very low. Returned both pair.
By wood chuck from Chicago on 11/03/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My first pair of ski pants. They looked huge, too big in the waist and too long, but having tried them on I believe they will be fine. I think that I'm very satisfied, but there will not be snow here for another month, and then we'll see.

By Benny from San Juan, Puerto Rico on 10/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Will be using this one in Colorado with temperatures in le low 20's. It feels good and comfortable. Only one pocket is the drawback.
By Michigan Mom from Michigan on 10/10/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Downhill, Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants seem to run small. My husband has a 33 waist and is trim, but the medium was too tight for him. I purchased these for playing in the snow with our son, and they would be fine for that, but I don't think these are warm enough or durable enough for true winter sports.
By Happy Happy from San Francisco Bay Area, CA on 10/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered a size M which translates to sizes 32-35. I tried it on for size and it was too big for me. I wear a size 32. It had very little adjustment on the elastic waistband - velcro on the waistband is the buckle and has about 1/2 inch of play. Fully adjusted, I had some problem keeping the pants up on my waist and hip. I would say size M probably fit well if you are size 34-35. I exchanged for a ski bib instead - same brand and same M size - and received the ski bib just in time for this review. The ski bib version came 1" shorter in the inseam(31") but that was not an issue for me. The highly adjustable suspenders work very well for me and the pants hold up very comfortably now. I have not taken it out to the snow yet - will be doing that this winter. I bought it primarily for light winter activities - playing snow and hiking with the family.

not designed for vigorous sports By picky shopper from sf bay area on 09/24/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish, Waterproof Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features, Poor Sizing Best Uses: Cross Country, Hiking Describe Yourself: Advanced Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: waist is fine for a 31-32 but hips too tight relative to waist size in the small. you got to be able to crouch and bend comfortably for sports. will return or exchange for a larger size (waist likely too loose).
very warm but not enough pockets By kickstand from New England, USA on 05/27/2009 Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use mine for shoveling snow, playing with the kids in the snow, and for standing outside for hours in winter, taking landscape photos. The pants are really quite warm, and the price is right. I could stand outside all day in these and never get cold. I've never had problems with snow getting into the pants.
However, they would be much better with more pockets. There's only one rear pocket, and that's it.
