They are the best base layer I have ever owned and I have been in and out of base layers 15 years. I bought these before this season and used them on the mountains in VT all Jan. and Feb. I had them at Mt. Washington NH this spring, when it rained, snowed, blew the wind... typical nasty weather for Mt. Washington. They performed perfectly.

Most definately a warm piece of clothing. Paired with other fleece clothing it will definately keep the user warm all day long.
By Roscoesmydog from West Virginia on 02/22/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are long, long, long. Not as lightweight and conforming as other fleece tights that I have, but a great value for the money.
By Elephant PantsRus from Frozen Tundra of Iowa on 02/17/2009 Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Who knows if these would serve the purpose or not. They are HUGE. If, for some strange reason you are interested in purchasing these I would order at least two sizes smaller than what you would typically order. I bought them for little or nothing, so it didn't warrant the return shipping charge to send them back. They will make great car detailing rags!
