By GJJ from OH on 12/21/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit, Warm Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Ordered this for my son for Christmas. He told me the tall size was a perfect fit since he is 6 foot 2. He camps out in winter and he said these would be great for that activity.
Great long johns but way long By Hunter Dan from College Station, TX on 12/17/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit, Warm Cons: Poor Fit, Super long Best Uses: camping, Cold Weather, Hunting, Snow Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are really nice long johns. They are pretty thick and super warm. I don't think that these would be too good in high activity level sports unless the weather was super cold as they might burn you up. For hunting and camping type activities you will love them. They are the warmest long johns that I have owned and the price was unbelievably low. The only problem is that when they say tall, they mean NBA basketball tall. I'm 6'1" and these are way too long for me. They would be great for someone about 6'5" to 7'0". All that said, they are super comfortable and I will probably cut a few inches off of the bottom and hem them up. The waist band over my navel will just have to do. Unless you are really tall (6'5" or taller) get the standard length.
By underwearman from denver co on 12/10/2008 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: very warm, comfortable, not tight like most longies are, fits great.
By Tall Texan from San Antonio, Texas on 12/01/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These long underwear are perfect for my 6'3" son! He loves them. Colors nice and muted. Retains shape after washing.
By Climber in training from Michigan on 11/24/2008 Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have 4 pairs of these I use for different activities, from sleeping in cold conditions, to exercising outside in the winter, shoveling snow, hiking, etc. They are worth much more than they cost here so they are a great bargain. The only long underwear I've worn that is better is capilene, but that is usually more expensive, so dollar for dollar this is the best product for the money.
By kate from Glenville NY on 11/16/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Warm Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are fantastic! They compare equally to the much pricier[@]brand of heavyweight thermals. Smooth on the outside, they go on easy under jeans. Soft and fleecy inside. I bought these for my son who is an electrician, and they come in a "tall" which he needs. Can't beat the price either! These are excellent for someone who works in the cold and not moving around that much.
My Dad LOVES these long johns! By My Father's Daughter from Montreal, QC Canada on 05/08/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit, Warm Describe Yourself: Rarely Workout Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My father loves these long johns. He is very old and always cold. Clothes that rub on him or are the least bit tight, are very uncomfortable on him. He has a lot of trouble finding anything that fits. He is in a WWII war veterin's home out in British Columbia, in a wheel chair, and can not get out and about. He finds it very convenient that I am able to actually order this product on line for him.
By skiqueen from wenatchee on 03/11/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Work great under Gortex shells.
I would buy these again and I did! By wmagoo from Emmett, Idaho on 01/01/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, grave yard policeman Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My husband is a officer and grave yard shift can get real cold real quick if you are out on a accident. He had two accidents to respond to the first night he wore them and never got cold. I ordered two more pair the next day.
