Wonderfully warm and soft By just me from San Antonio, Tx on 12/25/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Moisture Wicking, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking, Snow Sports, Travel Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got them for a middle layer travelling in cold climates. They are perfect for this! The ankles keep breezes out and allow me to layer wool socks over them. The butt is large, as others have said, but since the fabric is soft this is not a problem for me. I use them over a tight base layer and under loose outer pants or waterproof pants. At night they are pj bottoms. They are a very comfortable, live-in item.
Really warm but too much fabric in abs By Love to be Warm from Virginia on 12/22/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Everyday Wear, Snow Sports, Travel Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I love everything about these soft, warm and comfy long johns except the fit around the stomach. I have to roll the waistband down about 4 inches. There's a large amount of extra fabric in the abdomen area of my size smalls; I could have worn these almost all the way through a pregnancy. I hope they cut the next generation to be more in line with low waist fit and style, as these can't be worn under pants with all that extra fabric. I wear them as PJs or under sweats.

Not my idea of long underwear By GrayGoose from Indiana on 12/14/2008 Cons: Poor Craftsmanship, Poor Fit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have no idea who designed these, but the fit is awful. The crotch on the pants hangs down way too long that I have to roll the top waist band over several times. These are so thick and bulky that I doubt you could wear them under a pair of pants. They appear to be more like something you would wear under snow pants.I would send them back, but since they only cost [$] after the discount I'll find a use for them.
Waist goes up to my chest! By Ski Mom from Manchester NH on 12/06/2008 Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these to wear out in the snow. I think they will be warm and they feel nice. However I only gave them 2 stars because they are so big. They are ok in the leg in both width and length but the waistband goes all the way up to my chest. This is very uncomfortable. I thought I would be able to wear them under my jeans too, but I won't. I am going to keep them for under my snowpants and just roll them down, as I hate paying shipping twice with nothing to show for it. I would not buy these again

But it would have worked beautifully!
