By Unca Bill from Hercules, CA on 12/31/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I didn't give these "long johns" an exhaustive test. I took them along to Eastern Washington and much milder weather than I expected. My only chance to test their warmth was an afternoon of skeet shooting during a snowfall. The temperature was 27 degrees and there was little wind. The denim pants didn't protect at all, yet I was warm. I wouldn't even been aware that I was wearing them except others were complaining that their legs were cold.
Purchased with the matching top. Great. By Marnie from Wyoming on 12/18/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My husband commented the first day that it felt kind of odd having long johns that actually fit him, but he's definately liking them. He's tall and slender, which makes it hard to find anything that fits right, locally. He wears long johns under his clothes in the winter. He's a contract logger, and is in and out of the equipment, so needs the layers to put on or take off to keep comfortable.
