Instead of a "regular" shirt or pants these were actually sort of quilted. They will still be great in the winter for really cold, snowy days, but probably will be a little bulky to wear for every day occasions. The sizes were true to size but perhaps a little on the small end, but maybe because these are meant to be worn under clothing and more snug?
By adventuregirl from Austin, TX on 08/08/2009 Best Uses: Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these for our son and, while the color it nice, the fabric seems stiff and itchy. They're going back.

Great price, does the trick By joy from long island, new york on 07/09/2009 Best Uses: Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought a few of these and each were a different material. If your children just need some extra long underwear this is a great deal.
Nice quality, warm & comfy By Gwen with 2 active boys from Seattle, WA on 07/07/2009 Pros: Retains Body Heat, Soft, Stretchy, Wicks Away Moisture Best Uses: Lounging, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These were better than I expected. The midweight is a clue, that these are thicker than your avg pair of long underwear. They practically feel padded, they're so fluffy. My son loves them and is looking forward to winter next year.
Great for under ski pants!! By John the Traveller from Zurich, Switzerland on 06/13/2009 Pros: Retains Body Heat, Soft, Stretchy Best Uses: Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought it for use under ski pants. Does a perfect job.
diff. colors are very diff. materials By Jess from Silicon Valley, CA on 06/07/2009 Pros: Retains Body Heat, Soft, Stretchy Best Uses: Sleeping, Under Clothes Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought two pair -- the dark blue and the black. They are each very different materials. The black ones are much thicker than I was expecting -- a kind of waffle weave that was very soft on the inside. I was hoping for thin lightweight long underwear like my[...]mid-weight long underwear. These definitely aren't that. I almost send them back, but my daughter *loved* them because they were so soft. She has worn them on two camping trips so far: as a warm underlayer in the evening and then for sleeping in at night. She gives them two thumbs up, but just beware they are very thick. The dark blue pair is much thinner, but has a much more "polyester" feel. Comes out of the dryer very clingy and static-y. Again, not quite the fabric I was hoping for, but my daughter really likes the color and says they are quite warm for sleeping in. (Before getting the long underwear she was never able to keep warm in her 20-degree sleeping bag at night. The long underwear is just the right thing for keeping her warm without bulking her up.)

Great Product sizing runs small By Just a Mom from Seattle on 05/03/2009 Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This was ordered to be worn under our base ball white pants, too bad they run too small.
