There is no break in time needed, they are comfy from the start! I like the darker brown color of the leather because it looks almost dressy while remaining casual. The darker color is good if they ever fade, because they will still remain a nice brown.

However, the Merrell products I've had over the years have always proven to be very comfortable once you get used to the exact fit and so far the Bliss sandal is no exception. A great sandal for for around the house chores and treking the urban environment with enough style for wear to an outdoor business casual event.

footbed too shallow, can't get foot in! I would recommend only if you have a foot with little arch.
