I would buy this product again By Mel the hiker from Ridgefield, CT on 06/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flexible, Good Traction, Stable Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this shoe for trail hiking and everyday wear. I love them. I had a similar pair before. I really like that they stay a little wider down at the toes. It makes them more comfortable for longer hikes. I felt these were true to size, but I like a little extra room, plus I use orthotics, so I ordered a half size up from my usual size.
By eb from Arnold MD on 05/18/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I followed your size directions (1/2 size smaller) right foot was too small. Shoe felt good except a bit short on the one foot, the looks were clunky.
Feels like last f/ man's shoe; wide heel By Stretch from Colorado on 05/16/2009 Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Merril's have been my lifesaver, but most new styles have too much ventilator fabric. I thought I'd like this style but my normal size 10 was much too big. I ordered the 9.5, but the heel still slips. I suspect they used a last for a man's shoe.
merrell radius cross-training shoes wm By mojo from seattle wa on 05/12/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Good Traction, Stable Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: So far, so great. Fantastic shoe for orthotics! By alibarbara from milwaukee, WI on 05/02/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Good Traction, Stable Best Uses: Pavement, Trails, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was looking for a shoe with good support that would hold my orthotics and this is the shoe! It is unusually high and deep with a removeable insole. The laces allow more adjustment than the usual sneaker or velcro shoe. There is enough room for all my toes and it doesn't slip with the orthotic inside- a problem I've had with many shoes. Merrell is a quality shoe and this is no exception. These are my walking, gardening, bumming around town shoes- very versatile and comfortable. The sole is durable so I anticipate they will last awhile.
By waterfaucet from Hendersonville, NC on 04/30/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Good Traction, Stable Best Uses: Gym, Pavement, Track, Trails, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The previous reviews were why I ordered this shoe and I found this shoe as others described exactly. I did order 1/2 size smaller as suggested and they fit great;I have a wide foot and the width is perfect. They are different than my other cross trainers but I like their versatility. I use them for aerobics, running and light hiking and so far they are super. Highly recommend. I am very pleased overall.
