This is the best shoe I have ever owned! It feels great on long power walks and through trails. My arches feel supported and I love wearing this shoe throughout the whole day. The toe base is wide, so my toes do not feel cramped together. I would buy this shoe again and again!

Comments:
I have wide feet and bad bunions that have kinda mishapened my feet from buying "what was on sale" and what "looked cute". I also developed planar faciatus this past year. I only work part-time filing and walking quite a bit at a large University hospital. My husband swears by buying good shoes that last & last. He wears one pair of Merrell's he raves about and talked me into these. I love him more now. My feet are comfortable all day and my planar has subsided. From the 1st day I wore them my feet stayed comfortable all day long and I now wear them everyday since receiving them a couple of weeks ago. They may seem kinda large, but not much more than my Air Jordan's. At 60 years old, my feet finally feel good all day long. If these ever wear out, I will get another pair. They are very well made and very sturdy.

Comments:
I bought two pairs of Merrells - my first, including this style. They feel good, but this style, in particular, has a really bad odor. Maybe it's the waterproofing chemical. When left in a room with the door closed the space smells like sewer water;same for inside the car when I'm wearing them. I moved them to the basesment and now the area close to the shoes has that odor, too. No more Merrells for me.

Best Uses:
Gym, Track, Trails
Describe Yourself:

Comments:
These shoes are just a tad too big for me, even with my orthotics in. I was disappointed in that. I didn't realize it till they had stretched out a bit so, if you order, wear them indoors for a while before deciding whether they fit/whether to keep them. Otherwise, the quality is good and I will wear them, just lace them tighter and maybe not wear them as often. If you watch the sizing though, they would be a good buy.

This shoe was great for my wider foot narrow heel but it hit my ankle bone and was uncomfortable for me. I was not be able to tolerate it on a test walk indoors let alone on a trail. I will keep looking Merrell's usually fit me just fine. [...]

Comments:
These shoes took about a week to break in, but they are great. I worked a few days where I was standing on a wood floor in one place all day and they were especially comfortable. I have a tendency to pronate, but it isn't an issue in these shoes. They were advertised as not being true to size, but my experience with other Merrell shoes is that they were fine. I'm glad I ordered my usual size, 'cause these are fine also. -Bernice

I am not a gym rat or a competitive athlete but I do walk the dog several miles each day, ride my bike, go trail hiking and camping every chance I get and these are the shoes that I wear. They are very comfortable, durable and well made. I have owned several other brands of shoes and Merrell is by far the most comfortable and well made of them all
