By what's her name from Lexington, NC on 11/11/2008 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Good Traction, Great support, Stable Best Uses: Around the house, Gym Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes are wonderful! I was looking for something that offered great support for my arch and cushioning under the ball area of my feet. These feel better than the last 3 pairs of running shoes I've bought, which offered little cushioning around that ball area and made exercising a chore. Now I don't dread hitting the treadmill to walk or jog. They are a little heavier than traditional running/walking shoes.
I would buy these shoes again and again By PJ from Indiana on 11/09/2008 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Flexible, Good Traction, Stable Describe Yourself: Rarely Workout Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love these shoes. They are the most comfortable athletic shoes I have ever had. They are nice because you can wear them to work when you wear casual clothes.
By Always moving from Wyoming on 11/07/2008 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: Pavement, Walking with extra weight Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I actually exercise a lot, but never in a gym, so I am not a "gym rat". I bought these shoes when a friend and I decided to start walking together. I have a 35+ lbs two-year-old whom I carry in a back pack so I can push one of her boys in my stroller, while she pushes the other. After our first walk, I knew my old shoes wouldn't cut it, and standard walking shoes weren't going to be enough. I LOVE these Merrells. I have always worn this brand for hiking & casual wear, and am sold on these cross-trainers. We walk 4 miles up & down hills on pavement, and my feet feel great!
The shoes were clunky and too heavy. By Barbara from Ashland, OR on 11/07/2008 Cons: Heavy, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I returned the shoes.
