By ovlov from yarmouth, maine on 02/05/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Moisture Wicking, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Cycling, Layering Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good base layer. Tends to roll up from bottom and pills easily.Provides excellent warmth and the price was right-it had and added percentage reduction and that meant that it was a fair value-if it had been full catalogue retail I probably would not be as enthusiastic. Overall satifies need as a base layer and occassional long sleeve jersey.
By Treeman from Sacramento CA on 02/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Not at all itchy, Stylish Best Uses: Arborist work in trees, Cold Weather, Layering Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this underlayer shirt to keep warm while climbing around trees, and it maintains my body warmth without overheating. The partial handcover cuffs with thumbholes keep my hands from getting stiff in the cold, so I can freely climb and use a chainsaw without restricting my flexibility. I have two of these, could use a lot more, as I prefer them to my other underlayer shirts.

By Shell from Wenatchee, WA on 01/18/2009 Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: On a guy who's always a large, the large was too snug and too short. Other than fit, the shirt seems nice.

Light weight and warm.. but the zipper option allows for cooling down during heavy work or "personal summers".. washes well, drys quickly.. very comfortable - a great cool weather top.

Bad fit (neck and sleeve length)! By Loves the snow! from Ottawa on 12/22/2008 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I've had one of these for the past eleven years (yep, you read me right), and it was perfect. Finally decided it was time to get some new ones. The fit on this one is very confused. I am a normal 190 lb. 5' 11" guy. The neck is too large (I don't have a pencil-neck). The sleeves are too short (I don't have orangutan arms). Further, the sleeves have the wacky cut-outs for your thumb so you can keep your sleeves tucked in your gloves. This would work if the sleeves were long enough to go the extra 2". As is, they're not even long enough at the normal wrist length. What happened?
