Can't wait for the weather to get cold By Carolyn the Nurse from Dallas, Texas on 10/22/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, beautiful color, Comfortable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use, Easy to dress up or down, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have longer than average arms so I bought this coat one size up. I could have bought my usual size but I'm glad I didn't. I will now have more room inside for my bulky sweaters. Yeah! This coat is suprisingly light weight for the warmth factor. I'm really looking forward to the weather getting colder here in North Texas so that I can show off my new coat. I just love it! Icebreaker never disappoints!
Beautiful, but fits strangely By RainyDayRun from Western NC on 09/12/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, beautiful color, Comfortable, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Boy do I wish this coat fit. It is just what I was looking for and the sleeves and length are perfect. BUT It is tight through the bust and midsection. I am 5'3 and normally wear a 10 petite pants and sometimes a 12 petite top because of broad shoulders. I ordered the Large in the coat and could zip it up, but the buttons gapped significantly. There is no way I could even wear a sweater underneath.
If I lose another 10 lbs. this probably would fit, but I am NOT doing that again - buying something in the hopes that I'll get into it.
It is a beautiful, functional coat.
By Traveler from Santa Fe, NM on 09/07/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Cut Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The medium was too snug for layering so I exchanged it for the large. Even on the medium, the sleeves were long, but on the Large the sleeves fall below my fingers. I have altered the length and love the jacket but what a weird fit!
By Summit from Los Angeles, CA on 08/07/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: As an Icebreaker fan - I just had to purchase this jacket for the upcoming fall weather. I live in Southern California and this jacket is perfect for Spring/Fall and our light Winters. The jacket looks much better in person than on this picture (the collar can be kept open as shown or buttoned up which gives it a stylish appearance)and only one button is visible at the top which adds to the great appearance. I selected the Blue color which is more navy in appearance to me. I started off with a small (4 to 6), however, it was too tight. I'm petite 5'2 and weigh 127 pounds. In most of my clothes I wear a size 6. So I reordered the medium (8 to 10) which fits much better and will allow me to wear more clothes underneath. Although the arm length is much longer (close to 2 inches), I folded them up and the lining on the inside is so nice I may just wear this look because of the quality of the gray lining fabric or have it altered at a later date. Since the jacket is slim fitting consider ordering a size larger if your measurements are close. The quality of the jacket is excellent and I can dress it up or down. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Amazing Jacket at an Amazing Price! By Dog Jogger from Gander, Newfoundland, Canada on 06/04/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Daily Use, Travel Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is amazing price for this jacket!! I am a loyal Icebreaker wearer and couldn't believe the deal I got on this coat! It fits like a glove. I am 5'8" amd the sleeves are perfect, so they might be a little long for a shorter person. It looks great and feels great. I do not find the zippers hard to use at all - some of the other reviews stated that. The color is great. I can't wait to wear it to Ireland in the fall!
By Jo from NY on 05/28/2009 Pros: Good Cut, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Daily Use, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a good product and it feels well made. I love the ink colour and can't wait for temperatures to drop again, so that I can start wearing it.
The only drawback is, that the zipper - button combination stops the garment from falling nicely. However at this prize I can live with it.
Sleek and polished jacket By Chicago from Chicago, IL on 05/10/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile Cons: Not for larger bust sizes, Zipper tricky at first Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Attractive with a flattering cut, this well-made jacket is perfect for everyday use & for an evening out on the town. Although relatively lightweight, the merino wool will keep you warm in the chilly & windy temperatures. When fully closed, the front flap hides a welded zipper & three 1" Icebreaker buttons. The 4th/top button is the only one that is exposed. The front zipper is a little stiff at first, but gets easier to use as time goes. Two side pockets on the outside are zippered (5" opening with Icebreaker textured zip pull) & relatively hidden, adding to the sleek line. I was able to fit a 6.25"x 3.75"x 1.5" box into one of the pockets. I have a 36C bust & wear a large in Icebreaker clothing, so I purchased this in large. I was able to close it and remain warm while wearing an Icebreaker Crewe BodyFit260 Long-Sleeve T-Shirt without the odd flaring that is common with tighter-fitted jackets. A thin sweater would be fine, too. It still fits comfortably, but I don't see forsee wearing a bulky sweater underneath or larger bust sizes faring quite as well. The sleeves a little long on me, but I am only 5'2". The unique java color is a gorgeous brown with a hint of plum, but the jacket is not close to purple by any measure. It is lined with a coordinating leaf-printed grey-purple polyurethane lining. I am very happy with this purchase and look forward to wearing this again in when the chilly weather returns.
By kcwalker from Kansas City, MO on 04/21/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Cut, Warm, Well Made Best Uses: Daily Use, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great looking jacket, but the fabric that covers the zipper flaps out when I zip up the zipper - can easily be avoided by using the buttons instead.
By colorado runner from salida, co on 03/24/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Good Cut Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a really classy looking jacket. The only problem I'm having with it is that it's hard to use the zippers - on the front and on the pockets. I understand the zippers are made to keep wind out, so maybe that's why they are a bit "sticky".
