By Franko from South Bend, IN on 05/18/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Fast drying, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking Cons: Pure silk is fragile--sn Best Uses: Cold Weather, Gym, Layering, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Silk is fragile and snags easily.I also have silk button shirts and short sleeve T's. Cannot use chloride bleach as will stain, however, powdered bleach may be safe.
Also use the long sleeved silk T's under motorcycle jacket to avoid direct skin-to-jacket contact in case of sweating.

Great underlayer under work clothes By Gement from Seattle, WA on 03/23/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My office is too cold; I wear these under my clothes instead of wearing sweaters over them. They're great. I'm female and wear both the women's Medium and men's Small very comfortably. The turtlenecks are only appropriate if you want a turtleneck neckline, of course, and too transparent to wear all by itself or over anything with a pattern.

Best Cold Weather Base Layer By Snowman from Northern Michigan on 03/08/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Packs small, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Cycling, Layering, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this for cold weather cycling, snowmobiling, or any other cold weather activity. Putting a layer of silk under whatever you wear will increase your temperature comfort range. You will be warmer when it's cold and cooler when you find yourself indoors but dressed for cold temperatures.
