As usual- Tilleys are still the best. By Berto from Austin,Tx on 07/23/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual, Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A great hot weather hat from Tilley. I don't know why they went to "vented styles" with only a small vent below the top. I have 2 other Tilleys, both about 10 years old and only showing some fading on a blue "bucket".
By DC Traveler from Washington, DC on 07/20/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, outdoor work, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual, Comfort-oriented, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm traveling to Morocco in a couple of weeks and wanted a good hat with wide brim and vents--all of which this hat has. Most of all I'm excited to have a hat that actually fits my small head. I think it will do fine in the sands of the Sahara while I am out riding camels!

I love this hat - BUT . . . By Arctic Fran from Anchorage, Alaska on 07/08/2009 Pros: Adjustable, Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight Cons: Mesh and mosquitos, Sizing Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual, Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Sizing: If I measure my head I should wear 7 3/8, I have two Tilley's that are 7 1/2 and they feel tight with my now longer hair. This one I ordered as 7 5/8 and it is great, comfortable and big enough to allow a breeze on my head.
Mesh and Mosquitoes: I just spent two weeks floating and camping on a river hundreds of miles north of the Arctic Circle in Alaska. Yes, there were mosquitoes! My head itched and I thought the mesh on my new hat was scratchy BUT no, it was the mosquitoes biting through my headnet AND the mesh in the hat to make my poor head bloody. Bugs cannot get through the nets BUT they CAN stick their little suckers through two layers of mesh and I had to put duct tape over the hat mesh to keep from going crazy. Other than that, I love this hat!
I bought this hat to wear on camping and river trips in Alaska and to wear traveling, hiking, etc in the lower 48 and other parts of the world. I love that it is crushable and it really is! The brim stands up to a stiff head wind and that is important while running a swift river.
By None from Eugene, Oregon on 07/07/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Compactable, Durable, Easily cleaned, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual, Comfort-oriented, Outdoors person, Practical, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Do not know why Tilley discontinued this model. People ask me all the time where they can get it.
It is the most feminine of all the hats. The others are flat on top and look more masculine to me. Love the dome look. This hat goes everywhere with me. I wear it with all outfits to protect me from the sun.

This is my very favorite hat! By Walking Annie from Seattle on 06/29/2009 Pros: Adjustable, Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Practical, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my THIRD Tilley LTM7 Airflow hat. I use it everyday, in rain and sun, spring, summer and fall. The only reason I have had 3 of these hats is because I've lost 2!
