The sweetheart shirt is thin, but really comfortable. I've worn this top hiking in 90 degree weather, I've worn it running in 40 degree weather, and it never gets stinky like polyester. I've even fallen asleep in it, it's so comfortable. I think these tops are better than smartwool, since they're more fashionable, have a nice neckline, and prettier colors/designs. I own a medium and a small, and they fit similarly (I'm 5'4", 135 lbs, 34D). Great tops!
By jean from minneapolis on 10/21/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Anytime, Cold Weather, Competition, Cycling, Gym, Running Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: nice shirt, pretty, good fit, but itchy for me!
i ordered 3 icebreaker shirts, all 100% merino wool, one feels as soft as fleece or cotton, this one and another feel prickly. it simply too itchy for me to wear on my skin. this is one of them that is going back, too bad, it would be such a pretty nice shirt if it wasnt so very itchy.
By Unrivaled from Buffalo, NY on 10/14/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Anytime, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am cold as soon as it gets to be under 65 degrees so I always need an extra layer. I use this with other thin wool undergarments too keep warm at work and home. It is very pretty alone but is a bit sheer. I love wool because it keeps you so warm. A lot of people are afraid of wool because they think it is bulky and ITCHY. If you buy Merino Wool that is never the case. I first bought a L but sent it back for a M. I am a 34D. The arms are not too short as with other simular items. This is my first Icebreaker item and I want more. I looked around the web and this company is expensive but the have great stuff. Thanks Sierra!

Not Disapointed on lightweight By Rim to Rim Hiker from St Paul, MN on 09/08/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: So this is Icebreaker light weight. I really like how soft and smooth it feels on my skin. It has the apperance of raw silk and feels like it with the exception of the great breathability. It's the end of summer and this is great for nights or thowing this shirt on over another for just a little added warmth as the days cool down. I'm very happy with this shirt and may buy another color.
By Helen from Ann Arbor, MI on 09/08/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Anytime, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Perfect weight to wear under a sweater. I am 5'3", 118 lb and ordered an XS so I could use it as a base layer. It's thin enough that I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing it alone.
you just can't beat Icebreaker By Still hiking in Cleveland from Cleveland, OH on 07/17/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Anytime, Yoga/Dance Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am hooked on Icebreaker - the most comfortable shirts I have ever owned. This shirt was sized as a trim fit so I bought the next larger size because I like a little "elbow room".
By Always Cold in Chicago from Chicago IL on 07/15/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy to care for, High quality, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Anytime, Cold Weather, Running, Yoga/Dance Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love my Smartwool shirts and decided to try Icebreaker. This shirt is very thin, lightweight, comfortable and fits like a second skin. I'm 5ft 90lbs and bought four of these shirt in size XS. They're a bit too long in the torso and sleeves, but I'll be wearing them as a baselayer during the cold Chicago winters. The pastel colors are pretty.
By comfort gal from Sydney on 07/14/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Anytime, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use these tops as either a mid layer (over an Icebreaker singlet and under a heavier top) or as a top layer with a vest. They are lovely!! Also seem to wash well.
