By NEgrl from New England on 09/18/2009 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: After wearing these for ten minutes I had to take them off - - way too itchy.
By neko from michigan on 07/29/2009 Pros: Nice color, Nice fit Cons: Design on lower leg, Fabric is scratchy Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: i have a pair of high-waisted icebreaker leggings which i turn down, so I was interested in these, but they're just uncomfortable. I am not sure why they are scratchier than the pair that I currently own.
By Lauren from New Jersey on 05/05/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Fits well. Very warm and comfortable! The inner pocket and zippers on the sleeves are very handy.
By Montana buyer from Hamilton, MT on 04/30/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Long Length, Pretty design Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use these under long skirts to keep me warm at work. I wear them for outdoor recreation (hiking, skiing)
good slim fit but a bit short By east bay gal from berkeley, ca on 04/02/2009 Best Uses: Around the house, Hiking, Skiing, Work Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are great because they are light and small enough to fit under my tighter clothes. And warm but not too warm. But I found them a bit short, so the legs feel tight, yet the top fits perfect. I'm about 5' 8" (tall but not super tall) and an exact medium in waist and hips so I don't know if I'd want to order up. I just find that the ankles sit where my calves are, the knees are more around the thighs, etc. But I will try and stretch them after washing... they are a nice color and pretty outside floral design too.
By tried it from seattle, wa on 03/23/2009 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: i returned these bottoms. the elastic waistband was pretty narrow, and i was concerned it would dig it like another pair of longjohns i have. if it had had a wider waistband, they would have gone into rotation with my other wool bottoms.
By Colorado Athlete from Denver, CO on 03/21/2009 Pros: Fit well, Lightweight, Long Length, Warm for their weight Best Uses: Cold weather sports, Skate skiing, Skiing, Snowshoeing Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great lightweight layer that adds a lot of warmth for it's weight. It doesn't feel bulky under lined ski pants but is just enough extra to take the chill off going up a ski lift. They wick well, stay dray and keep you warm. The length is great for those of us with longer legs. The waist band is very narrow. Its not uncomfortable but isn't the most comfortable. The thing I do like about the waistband is that it's not tight and constricting around your waist. I would buy more if I knew I could use more than one pair.
By waldorf mom from bay area, ca on 03/17/2009 Pros: Attractive, very thin Best Uses: Not freezing weather Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are very soft, comfortable leggings. I wear them with a skirt and the coordinating icebreaker long sleeve top. The detailing is lovely. People can't believe it is 100% wool when they touch it. I am usually a medium but order a size up in icebreaker when it is "trim fit" and all is well.
