By Ms. Difficult Case from Utica, NY on 11/07/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wanted this for the winter (I own another Calida night shirt from 5 years ago and hoped it would compare to that, but it did not). It is also way too big for me, feels clumsy. The material is nice and soft, but not what I expected from "Heavy Interlock cotton," perhaps a misunderstanding...
Had to send it back.
my new favorite nightgown By TD from Overland Park, KS on 11/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Nice Design, Sturdy, Well Made Best Uses: Cool Nights, Sleeping Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great nightgown. Doesn't tangle around your body every time you move in bed. None of the seams or trim seem to rub or chafe; it's nicely made.
By Mary from New Jersey on 11/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Soft, Washes Well, Well Made Best Uses: Cool Nights, Sleeping Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This long nightshirt has the restrained Calida styling which looks better when worn than it does in a photo, though it's not exactly slinky. Calida's cotton knit fabric is fantastically soft, and the seams aren't irritating -- it feels like silk. The coral color is smashing.
By briggsie from Massachusetts on 11/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Washes Well, Well Made Best Uses: Cool Nights, Lounging, Sleeping Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Fairly slim fit, so you don't get tangled up when you roll over at night.
Good long length, with smart slit on one side up to knee. Sleeves are long enough to stay on your wrists even if you sleep with your arms above your head. Comfortable cotton interlock, ( not quite as soft as a cotton knit would be) and hefty enough to lounge around the house without feeling like you're wearing a peek-a-boo.
Not the Calida i know and love By Calida lover from Wilton, CT on 10/29/2008 Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have bought more than 15 Calida gowns. they have always been very comfortable, soft fabric, nothing scratchy. This is the first uncomfortable Calida I have bought and it is the first one made in China. While the gown looks good, the fabric does not have as much soft give. The seams are scratchy ( this is after laundering and fabric softener) and the neckline edging is also uncomfortably scratchy.[...]
