I purchased the blue/gray color and it was very lovely. [...] I gave it a try, just in case, but it was too small and I returned it. I would have taken the skirt in a medium in a heartbeat!

It truly is ankle length maxi, at least on me. The blue color is subtle and pretty. I have worn it with boots, flats, and sandals with heels. I had the XS taken in, but I am quite thin. By Lizzy from Denver, CO on 01/21/2009 Cons: Cheap Fabric, Unfinished edges Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I didn't even try this skirt on. As soon as I saw the raw edges on the sections of fabric, I was turned off. (I wish this had been mentioned in the description.) It makes the construction look cheap (actually, it is, considering that much less sewing is required); this a trend I will happily see fade. The material is flimsy; I had hoped for something more substantial. What a shame, for the skirt looked so nice in the photo.
