By Squirrel Girl from Seattle, WA on 11/08/2008 Pros: Functional, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable, Stylish Best Uses: Backpacking, Hiking, Snowshoeing Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have only used these pants twice so far: once hiking in warm weather and once hiking in the rain. They were awesome in the rain because they were not too warm like most rain pants, but still shed the water well. They were much too hot for my hike in 70 degree weather (oddly enough in mid-October) even when vented. I think they will be great this winter for snowshoeing. I love how flexible and comfortable they are and they look great too! The only downside is that I've already lost the scree guards...maybe they shouldn't have made that feature removable.

These pants protect well against elements and thorns. I would happily buy them again.
