Not overly-insulating so you don't get overheated. Great for layering on colder days. The white cuffs & trim aren't great if you're going to get muddy.

I wear it while riding my road bike and the the cold doesn't penetrate through on cold days! It is very light weight so I don't feel weighted down - just warm. I love this jacket!

The sleeves have the thumbholes so they never ride up.

It's perfect with just this and a thermal run shirt underneath and I stay warm (and I am someone who gets cold easily). The wind-proofing is amazing.. with the hood (that stays up even when running), i'm not even aware there is wind until I take it down. Incredibly breathable and very lightweight. Perfect.
