Windstopper works well, but a bit tight By sailordeac from NC on 12/01/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Windproof Cons: Fits a little small, Not Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The Windstopper feature is very useful - I tested it out by working outside for a few hours on a 38 degree day with about 20mph gusts of wind and stayed warm with only a t-shirt and a wicking mock turtleneck underneath. It also looks nice - I love the softness of the fleece.
I agree with the previous review that the jacket fits a little tight around the hips, however. I initally had gotten the next size up, but it was too long in the sleeves and huge throughout the body, so I went down a size. It fits better but is tight in the hips - I won't be able to layer much under it but that's fine.
By sparrow from grand rapids mi on 11/26/2008 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I found this jacket to be somewhat disappointing...the collar didn't lay flat and I don't always want to wear it standing up. The fabric is nice, cut is generous (NOT fitted), and the copper color I ordered was very unusual. Loved the color, but couldn't live with the fit, so I returned it.
Warm and soft but tight fitting By Georgia gal from Athens, ga on 11/26/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just got this jacket and I really like it. It's really soft and warm, but it's a bit tight. I would order a size larger than what you usually wear. It's a little short and tight near the waist. It fits but I won't be able to wear much underneath it.

By Rebecca from Savannah, GA on 11/11/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love this jacket. I bought it for winter running. THe only con is that is does not stretch-the reason I gave it 4 stars. I did get it in a large, and it does not inhibit movement while running, yet still has a contoured fit that is not annoying to run in. I really wanted a jacket with some stretch. ONce I put this one on, and realized it didn't stretch, it was too late. I was already in love with the jacket. It works fine for my purposes.
It is so soft you will have people petting you. Really.
When my husband saw me in it, he decided he had to have a jacket like it too. He thought it was very sharp looking for a running and casual wear jacket. He is a major outdoor enthusiast, so I ordered a similar MH jacket for him.
Not bulky, soft and warm & looks stylish on. The windstopper feature is a great feature. Highly reccommend.
By as from boone, nc on 11/11/2008 Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very nice jacket, and very warm. It is so soft, and people can't stop touching it.
Thinking about ordering another color By technicalwear junkie from Kentucky on 11/11/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have only had the jacket for about a week, but I have yet to take it off. The naughty rabbit fleece is so soft I can't wait to buy another one! The jacket is fairly warm and the windstopper protection kept me warmer than other fleece jackets. This jacket is thin enough to worn comfortably under a shell. The jacket is also longer than most so I don't get a draft up my back. I would consider this a great purchase for casual wear or an avid adventurer.
Not quite what I expected By mom from Syracuse, New York on 11/09/2008 Pros: Durable, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this fleece to replace a very similar one I had bought earlier in the season which my daughter decided should be hers. When she saw the furry fleece replacement, she asked to trade the old one back. She is delighted with it and I have the original Sierra purchase back.
Amazingly comfortable for rugged product By Damoz the hiker from Mahopac, NY on 11/08/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My wife was thrilled with the jacket. Our 16-year old daughter who wears the same size was a little bit jealous, so we surprised her with her own jacket. Now I have 2 very "happy campers".
Nice material, arms way too long By Dr. Data from Madison, WI on 11/08/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Had to return this because the arms are way too long, and don't look good turned back.
Cool fabric though.
