On the inside,it hold one large text book and two, 2" binders that are crammed full-and has nifty nooks for pens, digital recorder, other supplies, and a special padded compartment for glasses. The outside compartment has a space for a mid sized water bottle and on the opposite side another space for personal stuff, plus a clip for keys or whatever. T
Cute, great color, but... By late for class from lansing, mi on 09/22/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good padding, Lightweight What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Very cute day pack/book pack, but smaller capacity than I would have thought. I can fit one 1.5" 3-ring binder a few spiral notebooks with my wallet and sunglasses in the front pocket (which impinges on the inside capacity) and that's it. I'll make do with it, but if I had the time and wanted to spend a bit more, I would have bought a bigger bookbag. I've used it for about 2 weeks and it's stiff, but not uncomfortable. In fact, it's quite comfortable, I just wish it held more.
By robmom from texas on 08/26/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Good padding, Highly Adjustable, Lightweight Best Uses: Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought this as a pack for my highschooler, but with all the books and supplies he has, it's just not enough room. One of the best made packs I've seen though!
Great daypack for the price By John B from Penn Valley, CA. on 08/05/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Good padding, Highly Adjustable, Large capacity, Lightweight Best Uses: Backpacking, Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have had day packs without the sternum strap and that I find is essential.
The pack accommodates my laptop with a large, padded compartment. Lots of compartmentization inside.

It holds 2-3 books and a laptop computer, which is just about right for my purposes. There are also plenty of pockets for smaller items. I like the color (green) and it seems to be made to last. Really comfy too.
Great Every Day Carry pack! By BD Gear from Southern California on 06/09/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good padding, Lightweight Cons: Does not expand enough, Hard to access bottom Best Uses: Every Day urban Carry Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this product for my every day urban essentials: water, snack, cell phone, small first aid kit etc. It is very good for this purpose. It is compact and streamlined. The shoulder straps are very well padded. I dont use the laptop pouch for a laptop, but it is good for books and magazines. When opened it is slightly difficult to access the interior bottom. The eggshell color is more gray and looks great.
By Tidelands WaterGirl from Charleston, SC on 04/12/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Good padding, Lightweight Best Uses: Day trip, School or work Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm sure the stiffness will lessen with time- I hope over use. I was more than happy with the bag. It's got a perfect compartment for the computer- not just a sleeve, but a firm compartment, separate from anything that could hurt it. The compartment also keeps books well, if you aren't using the computer. Room for a few notebooks and a text book. It's not a huge bag, but for college students, this is a great plus. It still has ample room. All of the pockets help keep things sorted, without adding bulk. Overall- it's a trim bag, sleek in design and ready to get your day rolling- and keep it organized throughout.
Great small day/laptop pack By none from South Bend, IN on 03/06/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Good padding, Lightweight, Lots of compartments Cons: Small Capacity, Very small Best Uses: Laptop carrier or 2 books Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This pack is great for a laptop bag or to carry 1 or 2 books around town. It is too small for my standards of a daypack in the backcountry. However, we bought it for college use, and for that purpose it is great (if you only have 1 or 2 classes). The padding is good. In fact the padding would be sufficient for a pack 3 times the size of this one! The various compartments are great for storage of small misc. items.
Big quality in this urban bag By figdan from Southern Ohio on 02/24/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Good padding, Highly Adjustable, Lightweight Best Uses: Commuting, Work bag Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a nice bag for your laptop and a few files or maybe a spiral notebook. It has a nice variety of pockets for a calculator, slim camera and a fleece lined cell phone pocket. Speaking of fleece lined, It has a sunglasses pocket up high and easy to reach right away. one zip pocket for misc.small items and two external packets one large ( with a key clip inside ), one small. Don't expect to carry a full days worth of books for say school or classes but it does do very well for a laptop and a few essential items. I bought it for that purpose alone and am satisfied. You can't beat the price for Mountain Hardware quality AND you won't look like just another North Face toting drone looking to sport the TNF tag! Get the NUT!
