Of course, past results are no indication of future performance. That said, this linen shirt is one of the best shirts I own. It's soft, high-quality linen. The pin-tuck detail on the front makes it a little dressier than usual. The buttons are substantial and pretty. And even though it's dangerous for someone like me to wear white, if I wear the shirt open over a cami or sleeveless shirt, it's pretty, I'm comfortable, and the shirt is safe from spots.
By Arequipa from Silicon Valley, CA on 08/27/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this shirt in two colors, white and I think they called it "melon". They are both perfect for casual summer wear over a tank top or a close-fitting t-shirt. They wash well, and if you don't mind the quite casual rumpled look, you don't need to iron them. If you do want a more dressy look, ironing will get you that. I'm very happy with these shirts.
By City girl from New York on 06/15/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Office, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was concerned when I read the "bad seams" rating, but I thought I'd give it a shot anyway. The seams are fine--I mean the binding is surged, but that's true of every garment short of haute couture. I'm actually impressed with the superior quality of the shirt--it's well made, the linen's nice and the buttons (which I usually replace) are pretty.
By LL from Frostburg, MD on 06/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this shirt to wear over a tank top on vacation on cooler nights or when I needed a break from the sun. It's perfect--not too light or too heavy.
By Not-So-Little Old Lady from Chicago, Ill. on 05/27/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Cons: Poorly finished seams Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A good summer casual shirt with jeans. A camisole is mandatory because of sheerness.
