By flatlander from Kansas on 04/08/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Moisture Wicking, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this as a baselayer to wear under my splash pants when kayaking in colder water/weather, and they've been great. Nice and warm, and fabric feels great. After reading previous reviews, I bought a size large, even though I'm 5'7" 125 lb and normally wear a W's size 8. The large was perfect, roomy without being baggy or restrictive
By Akfletch from Homer, Alaska on 03/18/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Moisture Wicking, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Soft on the inside. Sleek on the outside. Nice and thick. The large fit my slighly paunchy 36/30 bottom half just fine. Good for skate-skiing w/o wind briefs at 15 degrees. I don't think the not-so-stretchy waist band would go over any but the very skinniest of female buttocks, though...
By NC Lab Man from North Carolina on 03/17/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Moisture Wicking, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Running Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have purchased three pair of these tights from Sierra Trading Post since last fall. They are a great value for the money! I run in them on cold mornings and have found them to be all I need on the coldest days we see here in NC.

Black Diamond power stretch tights By alynatsar from detroit, MI on 03/08/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking, Running, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: quite a bit thicker and warmer than others. Great to run in 25-40 degree weather, alone. Cannot imagine wearing under other pants unless close to 0 degrees; they are really warm and surprisingly lightweight.
By BillTex from New England on 02/24/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking, Running, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Ran in these first time today-7deg F at 5:00 a.m.. Impressed with how warm and windproof these are. The material feels very light weight compared to other long tights I own-we'll see how they hold up long term-but so far so good. I'll use these mainly for early morning runs, but will also use them for base layer while winter hiking/climbing in the White Mts or for base layer while skiing.

Waist Band Torn out after 2 uses By PsuBiker1 from PSU on 02/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking, Running Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: In my review, I rated them 5 Stars because mine are fine. However, the waist band on my wife's tights torn out after only two uses. The material is great, but the sewing, on her set, was not up to standards. We're getting them repaired now... Buy but be aware....
By Poppie from SF East Bay on 02/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Soft, Warm Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: LOVE the material, love the wicking.
I usually wear a womans's 2X with good fit in other Sierra products, I got the 2x in these tights, and they run VERY snug, and a little on the short side. Maybe they aren't really for women. They are, however, stretching to fit, but I hope I don't burst a seam or something. Would recommend to my smaller friends.
