I live in AZ half of the year and have worn and continue to wear Keen's most of the time. I usually wear Women's size 5 1/2 and decided to try 6Y as this style didn't come in Women's. I found these to be the same in length and width as women's. I usually wear "wide" and the 6 Y accommodated my small wide feet. They're great for all around walking and light hiking. However, they don't work well for walking / hiking where there's a lot of pebbles as they get caught in the footbed.

He wears his Keen everywhere except school (partial open back is not allowed). I've bought about 12 pairs of Keen in various style over the past 4 years. Everyone in the household has at least a pair. They are that comfortable.
