By jenfromzen from Long Island, NY on 07/01/2009 Pros: Can't think of a pro Cons: Hard To Put On, Hot, Not good with orthotics, Too Stiff, Unsupportive Describe Yourself: Athletic, Comfort-oriented, Practical, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I wanted these thinking I would add "oomph" to my walking workouts, but they feel so heavy and I have a lot of injuries so I didn't like that and they just don't seem like they'd do much, they seemed like they'd be really cumbersome to wear on a long walk, being that they weigh like 4 times the amount of regular sneakers. I usually walked in sneakers, which are light, so I'm not even used to the heavier weight of walking shoes in general. I just felt with every step these were going to be very tiring and they totally did not work with my orthotics, which I think I'm not actually doing well with any more anyway, but if you do want to put a high arched orthotic in there, forget it, very awkward. There's only a thin pad to remove from the shoe and no extra depth. Maybe if they could lighten the shoes and add an extra depth model, more people could wear these. I think if you want to work the balancing muscles, you can buy those things they have at the gyms, the balancing boards and whatnot, those probably work the muscle more than these heavy shoes, I know people love them, but they felt awful to me.
By Pazy amor from Anchorage, Alaska on 06/20/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable Describe Yourself: Athletic, Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes are wonderful, my legs get a wonderful woorkout in the hamstrings and glutes . Core body is engaged throughout the full range of movement . I use it mainly to walk, but I have used them for jogging 4 miles and no pain in the knees or feet. By far the best shoes I have owned.
why should all sneakers be boring? By a picky lady from Utica, NY on 06/17/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Cute, Look Cool Best Uses: Everyday, Shopping, Sport, Travel Describe Yourself: Athletic, Comfort-oriented, Fussy about appearance Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Though I haven't worn them a lot yet, these sneakers appear to be very comfortable so far. I really like the fact that they look somewhat like normal shoes as opposed to your average pair of sneakers. White sneakers are just too conspicuous and boring at the same time in my opinion. So I was happy to find these.
They didn't have the size I normally wear in MBTs (6 1/2 or 36 1/3 -- my normal shoe-size is 6), so I ordered the next one up (a 7). To my surprise they fit perfectly. I wonder if these run even smaller than MBTs normally do.

By TLC the nurse from Redding, CA on 06/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Made me taller, Shock absorber Cons: Fall prone, Quite heavy Best Uses: Long work day, Running Describe Yourself: Practical Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I work 12hour shift on my feet all day. This pair of shoes is great for me as it absorbs a lot of shock from walking all day. I come home with 75% reduction of pain, cramps and just the general feeling of tiredness. I bought another pair for myself for walking outdoor and another pair for my nurse husband too. We both feel the shoes are a little heavy though and it takes a while (3months for me)of getting used to.Once I am used to them, I love them.
