big flashlight with big beam By javagirl from chapel hill on 10/31/2009 Cons: Heavy, No Beam Adjustment Best Uses: Car Camping, Day trip Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great big bright beam that about covers the whole road for walking at night with my elderly dog. Heavy for backpacking use, always check the weight and size.
By Bluegrass Bassman from Kingston, Tennessee on 10/24/2009 Pros: Bright, Durable, Long battery life, Stable Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very well built and produces a decent light beam. This flashlight holds 6 AA batteries in two rows of three each which makes for a fairly small package. The frame is of polished, machined aluminum with a rubber grip. I would buy this flashlight again and am going to order two more of them.
Very Bright, but focused as well. By Craig from Atlanta, GA on 01/07/2009 Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Used for camping & hunting. Not too heavy for backpacking.
By Beachcomber from Cape Cod on 01/04/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is one strong light source. Purchased to have on hand with frequent power outages at home. Was tricky initially to operate... LED ring at the top had to be tightened for everything to connect. Beware also of very sharp edges when connecting pieces to the base. That said, I am very happy with this flashlight and have used it daily for one reason or another.

By BJ from Midwest on 12/03/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: It is not as bright as the Mag Lite we own but it is lighter to carry and the size fits in a small woman's hand easier.
There is a small (similar size and price) Mag Lite that I wish I had bought locally instead.
