By Rosie from N Woodstock, NH on 06/17/2009 Cons: Pockets to far off rear Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered one pair of these work jeans and loved them even though I ordered too long of a length and ended up cutting off 2". I decided to get another pair in a shorter length. The fit was tighter but they loosened up. I'm gardening this summer and will be in the dirt alot and need a good sturdy pair of work pants. I love the stretch and the pants!
By blue anteater from Eugene, OR on 06/09/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these for my daughter to wear riding horses in the Texas brush. The fit was ok and the heavy duty quality is what she wanted. We'll see how they work.

By Handy Mandy from Phoenix, AZ on 05/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lots of pockets, Sturdy and protective Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got these for the ruggedness, but they turned out to also be very comfortable for work pants, due to the slight stretch. The double front is durable and not overly stiff. As many pockets as one could want, and another neat thing, a reinforcement at the back of the leg where they tend to get walked on and fray early. This brand in general runs a little large, usually I wear an 8 but it's loose. However, in active wear and our hot weather, this is not such a bad thing.
Great fit for me, just looked funny By EveryPenyofIt from Los Angeles, CA on 05/24/2009 Pros: Comfortable, High Quality Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I love Carhartt. If you wanted to have an extra layer of denim for some special work or activity this is fantastic, but the way the layer is applied and how it is cut sort of outlines your womanhood. I felt like it was framing it, like a pair of chaps... not that I would know what I look like in chaps! So, not really what I was looking for. Your mileage may vary!
By AkConstruct from Alaska on 04/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Color, High Quality Best Uses: Casual Wear, Outdoor Work Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: these pants are great but do not prevent pants from sagging as Carhartt advertises. I work construction and do a lot of bending and am constantly having to pull these up to cover up. what i truly need is a pair that will stay where they are supposed to be.
By M from Exeter, NH on 04/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Color, High Quality, Wrinkle-Free Best Uses: Casual Wear, Night Out, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants are incredibly comfortable. The denim they are made of has more give than the other Carhartt pants available from STP. They seem a bit over-relaxed in the butt and thighs, but that may be something to do with them being factory seconds. All in all though, they are very comfy and functional.

By b-girl from Nantucket, MA on 03/18/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, High Quality, Washes Well, Wrinkle-Free Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've been wearing men's Carhartts for a while, and tried the women's ones for the first time last year. I was disappointed with the fit at the time--they were nipped in at the waist, high waisted, too big in the hips and bum. I wasn't able to find a pair that was even a good compromise.
BUT I gave women's Carhartts another try--and these double front carpenters are perfect, or as close to perfect as humanly possible. I am usually between a 10 and a 12, and the 12s I bought are comfortable, just slightly loose. The inseam, at 30" was just what I needed (and one of the reasons I've been buying men's pants, to get the right length). The waist of the pants is contoured to fit and lower on the hips, but not too low. The rise is perfect--no hanging down at the crotch. The cut of the legs is also perfect, not too belled or too tapered. I liked them so much I ordered a few more pairs. They are comfortable working outside and look a lot better than the men's fit.
By krissven from Chicago, IL on 02/22/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, High Quality, Washes Well Best Uses: Casual Wear, Outdoor activities Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: After ordering my first pair of these through Sierra, I now own four. I love the fact that high-quality, durable clothing is finally being made for active women. The double front is great for hiking in the woods or working in the yard, and I love all of the utility pockets. As a petite woman, I'm also thrilled that I can finally order my inseam size instead of running out and paying extra to have them shortened! There's nothing for me not to like about the new Carhartt for Women line. These jeans have led to several Carhartt for Women purchases and the more I buy, the more I like.
