I think it will be very warm when it finally gets cold out. Great for everyday when working in the barn and it still looks cute. Great price too!
By Carhartt Fan from North Carolina on 11/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Cut, Warm, Well Made Best Uses: Daily Use, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm quite happy with my Carhartt jacket. It
fits well and is roomy enough to wear over
sweatshirts. I like that the knit cuffs don't
hang down below where the regular sleeve ends. I bought the dark wine color and while I like it very much, it does show if anything light gets on it. But hey, this is a Carhartt jacket and I'm probably not going to be wearing it to a fancy restaurant.
By wrkhrdplyhrdr from montana on 11/13/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Cozy, Good Cut, Warm, Well Made Best Uses: Daily Use, Outdoor Activities, Work Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is well worth the money. I dont find the hood to be bulky, even when zipped all the way up. At first I had wished there was sherpa lining in the pockets for your hands to warm up against, but quickly realized that it would only collect hay and dirt, and so the duck in the pockets is befitting. I normally wear a small but bought the medium due to shoulder room, and arm length. For a Carhartt that is lined, this jacket is not heavy or bulky. There is good layering room underneath as well. I like the length of cut too. Not short, but not long. It hits right where the vests do. I have found no flaws, and would recommend purchase.
By El from MHS, PA on 11/13/2009 Cons: Pockets Too High, Short Length Best Uses: Bad Weather, Work Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This coat is nice, but I ended up with the Carhartt without the hood, simply because I liked the longer length in that coat and the pockets were more comfortable for me. I really love mine, but I miss the hood.

Its perfect for working with all of the animals on the farm! Very warm for those chilly nights too!
By Heidi the adventurer from Halifax, Pa on 11/06/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Cut, Versatile, Warm, Well Made Best Uses: Daily Use, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered a medium for some extra room for a sweater or sweatshirt and I'm glad I did. I'm only 5'4" and 120lbs. and the size small would have been too snug. The sherpa lining is alittle bulky so I would suggest to order up one size for some extra room.

It's a mostly cute boxy shape, but with the wrong pants it looks downright butch on me. I got it for transition weather where it's cold and rainy - so far so good, it's perfect for that. Sleeves are a tad long, but the elastic cuff keeps them out of the way. Good jacket overall.

Worth the $! Awesome jacket. By LoveHorses from Colorado on 10/14/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Good Cut, Versatile Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this coat to use out at the barn and I have been very pleased with it! It is very versatile, so far I've worn it in 20 degree weather as well as warmer temps and it's been about perfect. While the intention was to have a comfortable coat to ride in that is easy to move around, I love it and wear it out more then I originally expected. The cut is great and allows you to move around easily. Love this jacekt!
