I have only tried it on but it seemed light weight, as advertised, but also a just a bit scratchy - will have to wear it for an extended period to make a determination as to whether I need to wear something underneath to keep from being itchy.

It does seem to pill easily though, we'll see how it wears in time. Very comfortable.
