Probably not warm enough for January/Feb in Minnesota, but good for other winter months.
By Fashion Conscious Babe! from Sedona, Arizona on 06/16/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great value for the money! Light weight. Gorgeous color blue. This will be a FUN coat to wear this fall and winter! Excellent price! Must order next size up. I normally wear a medium. The medium was too small, so I ordered the large and it's still a bit tight - but they were out of extra-large.
By The weekender from Port Townsend, Washington on 06/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Cons: Too tight around hips Best Uses: Cold Weather, Comfort, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this coat, BUT I ordered a small (my usual) and it was too small! The sleeves were too short and when I zipped it up it was too tight around the hips but fit great in the chest and shoulders. I sent it back for a medium and have not received it yet. The coat is so light it feels like you are not wearing anything, but it is still warm. It's stuff size is about 6 by 6. Hopefully the bigger size will work out for me!

I expected a down coat that would serve for New England winters. This isn't it.

By Che from Tucson AZ on 06/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I took the jacket to a 5420-meter hike in Bolivia. Strong wind, below-zero temperature. Sure I had other clothes to keep me warm but wouldn´t have been so warm without the jacket. Wish the jacket could be red.
