Only for those with perfect thighs By ColumbiaFit from Columbia, MD on 11/05/2009 Cons: Poor Fit, Uncomfortable Best Uses: Cycling, Running Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These shorts must be for competitive triathlon athletes, not for first time triathlon competitors with more than 1% body fat.
By Betty Biker from Western NY on 08/24/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: For non-competitive cycling
By JBATC from Greenville, SC on 08/05/2009 Cons: Poor Fit, Restricts Movement, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I read previous reviews and should have listened. If you have any muscle (or fat) in your thighs, these shorts will NOT look good. They seem high quality and I'm sure they are but they are REALLY short and REALLY tight, creating an innertube look above the band at the bottom of the shorts--NOT attractive. I really wanted them to fit but they just are too small, too short, too tight...
By studioussteph from Newark, De on 07/30/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Yes, the legs are a little tight. However, you want that for a triathlon. These shorts aren't going to move around on you. I think that they will be great for a race. The only possible downside is that they are so short that the bike seat sort of rubs on the inside of my thighs.
By Swim Bike Run Rinse Repeat from Burlington VT on 07/26/2009 Cons: Poor Fit, Restricts Movement, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these for my first tri, and didn't use them because they were so uncomfortable. The other reviewers are right on- too short, and the gripper bands on the thighs were too tight and made me look pudgy- definitely not confidence-enhancing. By luv2exrsize from Monkton, MD on 06/25/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: In spite of ordering a size larger the elastic fit way too tight around the thighs. I was afraid to exchange for the next size up for fear they would be too big everywhere else. If you have muscular legs I would not recommend these shorts. Sierra Trading Post Responded on 06/25/2009

I love these shorts! The best ever! By manderson from WV on 06/15/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are the greatest shorts ever. I really don't like conventional bike shorts...too long. These shorts are great, dry quickly, and fantastic!
By wangie27 from Bolingbrook,IL on 06/09/2009 Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Do not order these shorts if you have big or muscular thighs! While the description gives the length of the inseam, I ordered them thinking they'd be good for racing, but not for me. For someone with small thighs I'm sure they'd be great though!
